Overview of material seal pump
It is widely used in medium and short distance transportation of dry loose powder such as fly ash, aluminum oxide powder, dry kiln ash, coke powder and cement powder.
Advantages of material seal pump
1. The equipment investment is small. One material sealing pump can replace two warehouse pumps, which reduces the equipment investment.
2. The gas consumption pressure of the material seal pump is 0.04mpa-0.1mpa, which reduces the gas supply pressure, saves the gas consumption and reduces the motor power.
3. Reduced maintenance costs. After the system is installed, debugged and put into operation at one time, there is basically no operation and almost no maintenance. The repairman only needs to check regularly.

Since the equipment was put on the market, it has been proved by many users that compared with warehouse pump, bucket elevator and other equipment, the pump has a series of advantages, such as small volume, low air pressure (0.2-1 atmospheric pressure, generally no air compressor, only roots blower), easy layout, no dust, meeting the requirements of environmental protection and so on. Widely used in electric power, building materials, chemical industry and other fields, it is an ideal equipment for lifting and conveying cement, raw meal, fly ash and other powdery materials within an equivalent distance of 680m and a height of 50m. working principle
The material seal pump uses the air jet to drive the ash particles to send the ash to the ash silo. The material seal pump is mainly composed of four parts: nozzle, cylindrical pump body, nozzle regulating device and bottom vaporization device. The energy of the material seal pump comes from two parts: one part is the kinetic energy of the fan and the other part is the potential energy of the material column. If the material column is high, the potential energy is large, the pressure is large, and the conveying capacity is large, otherwise it is small.
When the material seal pump works normally, a certain material level height shall be maintained. When the blanking amount of electric dust collection increases in a short time and the material seal pump still works normally, the material level height will naturally increase. With the increase of material level height, the material pressure increases and the potential energy increases, and the conveying capacity will increase accordingly until the system automatically balances. When the blanking amount of electric dust collection decreases in a short time and the material seal pump still works normally, the material level height will naturally decrease. With the decrease of material level height, the potential energy decreases The conveying capacity is correspondingly small until the system is automatically balanced.
Operating conditions
1. The necessary condition for the normal operation of the material seal pump is that there must be a certain material seal height. The pressure of the material level in the silo should be greater than the positive pressure during the operation in the material seal pump. The positive and negative pressures are isolated through the material level pressure, and the material is sent away by the wind pressure of the fan, so there must be a certain material level height.
2. The dust collector must be installed on the receiving silo. The exhaust air volume of the dust collector must be greater than the inlet air volume of the ash conveying fan. Otherwise, when the inlet air volume is greater than the exhaust air volume, the pressure in the receiving silo will be forced to increase, resulting in unbalanced system pressure and large pipeline resistance. The inlet air will flow back from the material seal pump to the part above the silo, making the material seal pump unable to work normally.
Development status
The material seal pump has been widely used in the transportation of finished cement in cement plant and fly ash in thermal power plant. Compared with the traditional powder conveying equipment (silo pump and negative pressure conveying), it is an indisputable fact that the investment is small, there is no fault and the maintenance cost is low. However, due to its limited transportation distance (equivalent distance of 500m, actual distance of 300m), its development under the condition of long-distance transportation in large-scale thermal power plants is restricted, which needs to be further studied and improved. But generally speaking, it is an excellent choice for medium and short distance transportation.
