Working principle of GTS drum screen:
The main structure of the GTS drum screen is the screening cylinder, which is composed of several circular flat steel screens that are inclined to the ground surface as a whole. The outside is sealed by a sealed isolation cover to prevent environmental pollution. By using a variable speed deceleration system, the screening drum rotates at a certain speed, and coal is separated from top to bottom through the screening drum. Fine materials are discharged from the lower front end of the screening drum, and coarse materials are discharged from the lower rear end of the screening drum. The drum screen is equipped with a comb type cleaning mechanism. During the coal screening process, the comb type cleaning mechanism and the screening cylinder move relative to each other to achieve uninterrupted cleaning of the screen body, ensuring that the screening cylinder remains clean, non sticky, non clogging, and does not affect the screening efficiency throughout the entire working process.

1. Wide adaptability of coal types:
GTS drum screen is widely suitable for screening various types of coal, whether it is low-quality coal, coal slurry, bituminous coal, or anthracite. No matter how wet or dirty the coal is, it can be screened smoothly.

The GTS drum screen coal inlet developed by our company can be designed according to the actual site conditions. Whether it is a belt, funnel, or other coal feeding method, it can smoothly feed coal without taking special measures.
3. High screening efficiency:
The equipment is equipped with a comb type cleaning mechanism. During the screening process, no matter how sticky, wet, dirty, or miscellaneous the coal entering the screening drum is, it can never block the screen, thereby improving the screening efficiency of the equipment.
4. Large screening capacity, easy to scale up:
At the same size, the area of the circle is larger than that of other shapes, so its effective screening area is larger, allowing the coal to fully contact the sieve mesh, resulting in a larger screening amount per unit time. The power of the drum screen motor developed by our company is half to one-third of that of other screen types, and the operating time is only one fourth of that of other screen types, so the energy consumption is extremely low.

The entire screening cylinder is sealed by a sealed isolation cover, completely eliminating phenomena such as coal powder flying and combustion block splashing during the screening cycle, and avoiding pollution to the working environment.
7. Low equipment noise:
During the operation of the GTS drum screen, the huge noise generated by the collision and friction between the material and the drum screen is completely isolated from the outside by the sealed isolation cover, making it impossible for the noise to be transmitted to the outside, thereby reducing equipment noise.
8. Long service life and low maintenance volume:
GTS drum screen is composed of several circular flat steel bars, and its screening area is much larger than that of other screening types. In addition, it has high screening efficiency and short equipment operation time, resulting in a longer service life. There are few vulnerable parts and a small amount of maintenance.
9. Convenient maintenance:
There are observation windows on both sides of the sealed isolation cover of the equipment, and staff can observe the operation of the equipment at any time. A quick maintenance door is installed on the side of the cleaning mechanism at the end of the sealed isolation cover, which is very convenient for regular equipment maintenance and does not affect the normal operation of the equipment.
