Natural gypsum board

Paper faced gypsum board is a light building sheet made of natural gypsum and protective paper as the main raw materials, mixed with an appropriate amount of fiber, starch, coagulant, foaming agent and water. As a new building material, paper faced gypsum board has the following characteristics in performance:
(1) Low production energy consumption and high production efficiency: the energy consumption of producing the same unit of gypsum board is 78% less than that of cement. And the investment is small, the production capacity is large, the process is simple, and it is convenient for large-scale production.
(2) Light weight: using gypsum board as partition wall, the weight is only 1/15 of brick wall with the same thickness and 1/10 of block wall, which is conducive to structural earthquake resistance and can effectively reduce the cost of foundation and main structure.
(3) Thermal insulation: about 60% of the gypsum board core is micro pores. Because the thermal conductivity of air is very small, it has good lightweight thermal insulation performance.
(4) Good fire resistance: because the gypsum core itself is nonflammable, and it will absorb a lot of heat in the process of releasing combined water in case of fire, delaying the rise of ambient temperature, paper faced gypsum board has good fire resistance and flame retardancy. According to the test of the National Fire Prevention testing center, the fire resistance limit of the gypsum board partition can reach 4 hours.
(5) Good sound insulation performance: the single-layer wall composed of a single light material, such as aerated concrete and expanded perlite board, can meet the requirements of sound insulation only when its thickness is very large, while the gypsum board partition wall has a unique cavity structure and has good sound insulation performance.
(6) Good decorative function: the surface of gypsum plaster board is flat, and the seamless surface is formed between boards through joint treatment, and the surface can be decorated directly.
(7) Convenient processing and good constructability: the paper gypsum board has the properties of nailing, planing, sawing and sticking. When used for interior decoration, it can achieve an ideal decorative effect. It can be cut at will with only a cutting knife. The construction is very convenient. Using it as decorative material can greatly improve the construction efficiency.
(8) Comfortable living function: gypsum board has high air permeability due to its large porosity and appropriate pore structure distribution. When the indoor humidity is high, it can absorb moisture, and when the air is dry, it can release some moisture, so it plays a certain role in regulating the indoor humidity. This function of gypsum board is called "breathing" function in foreign countries. It is precisely because gypsum board has this unique "breathing" performance that it can adjust the indoor humidity within a certain range and make the living conditions more comfortable.
(9) Green environmental protection: natural gypsum and paper surface are used as raw materials for gypsum board, and asbestos harmful to human body is never contained (asbestos is used as the reinforcing material for most calcium silicate boards and cement fiber boards).
(10) Space saving: the paper faced gypsum board is used as the wall, and the minimum thickness of the wall can reach 74mm, which can ensure the sound insulation and anti-corrosion performance of the wall.
Due to the advantages of light weight, fire prevention, sound insulation, heat preservation, heat insulation, strong processability (planing, nailing, sawing), convenient construction, good disassembly and assembly performance, and increasing the use area, paper faced gypsum board is widely used in various industrial buildings and civil buildings, especially in high-rise buildings as interior wall materials and decoration materials.
